1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to DriveShield, a mobile application that transforms your smartphone into a dashcam and navigation system for cars and motorcycles. By downloading, installing, or using DriveShield ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. App Usage

DriveShield provides video recording and real-time navigation features designed to enhance your driving safety. However, please note:

• DriveShield is not responsible for the accuracy of navigation data or GPS information
• Video recordings are provided as-is and DriveShield cannot guarantee their admissibility or effectiveness in legal proceedings
• The App is a supplementary tool and should not replace your primary attention to driving
• Users are responsible for ensuring the App complies with local laws and regulations

3. User Responsibilities

As a DriveShield user, you agree to:

• Mount your smartphone safely and securely without obstructing your view or vehicle controls
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Use the App responsibly and avoid any actions that could distract from safe driving
• Ensure your device has adequate storage space and battery life for recording
• Respect the privacy of others when recording in public spaces
• Not use the App for illegal surveillance or recording without consent where required by law

4. Subscription & Payments

DriveShield offers the following subscription plans:

• Monthly Plan: ₹100 per month
• Quarterly Plan: ₹250 per 3 months
• Yearly Plan: ₹900 per year

All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Refunds are processed according to the app store's refund policy.

5. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points include:

• Video recordings are stored locally on your device by default
• Cloud backup is optional and requires your explicit consent
• Location data is used for navigation and may be processed to improve our services
• You control what data you choose to share or backup

6. Limitations of Liability

DriveShield and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Any accidents, damages, or injuries that occur while using the App
• Loss or corruption of video recordings due to device malfunction, storage issues, or technical problems
• Inaccurate navigation information or route suggestions
• Any disputes arising from the use of recorded footage
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

Your use of DriveShield is at your own risk. The App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Intellectual Property

DriveShield, including its name, logo, design, and content, is the intellectual property of DriveShield and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

8. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DriveShield at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Use
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Misuse of the App or its features
• Non-payment of subscription fees

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately, though locally stored data will remain on your device.

9. Changes to Terms

DriveShield may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of DriveShield will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
